I found one relation between Toshiba Corp 東芝 and Mitutoyo Corp ミツトヨ 8:40am Feb 14, 2006.
When I retreived any word in Mitutoyo's Japanese homepage, tool of Toshiba's Fresh EYE like http://search-asp.fresheye.com/?ord=s&id=11292&kw=%8EO%95H went up. The logo isn't displayed on initial page http://www.mitutoyo.co.jp. (Toshiba's Fresh Eye, http://www.fresheye.com/, is very minor internet provider.) It was a Toshiba's dummy company for risky trades from the beginning or an non-Toshiba's slave company in the beginning.
Mitutoyo's homepage says it doesn't use Sumitomo-Mitsui Bank Corp 三井住友銀行 (SMBC) and it started bisiness in Musashinitta, Ota-ku, Tokyo 東京都大田区武蔵新田 in 1934 and it made the first factory in Kamata, Ota-ku, Tokyo 東京都大田区蒲田 in 1936. And it made a factory in Kawasaki-shi, Kanagawa 神奈川県川崎市 in 1940.
Mitutoyo's homepage doesn't clearly say when it moved the head office to Kawasaki-shi. I know the head office moved from Ota-ku, Tokyo to Kawasaki-shi in any time, maybe 1940 or 1945, from Kawasaki-shi to Mita, Minato-ku, Tokyo 東京都港区三田 in 1965 and from Mita, Minato-ku to Kawasaki-shi in anytime before 1999. 9:40am, Feb 13, 2006, police went to Mitutoyo Corp for a domiciliary search for exporting Mitutoyo's equipment 三次元測定機 (vision measuring machine ?) to China and Thailand. In Sep 2004, International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has announced it found equipment 三次元測定機 (vision measuring machine ?) of a Kawasaki-based Japanese company (Mitutoyo Corp) in Libya's nuclear plant. But the company name wasn't opened by Feb 13, 2006.
Soon, South Korea's nuclear scandal was revealed. I have believed Toshiba Corp got the scandal using satellite Mbsat or N-star-c and revealed it to dilute Mitutoyo's case because the Kawasaki-based Japanese company is a Toshiba's dummy company for risky trade (after affair "Toshiba's Coordinating Committee for Export to Communist Area (COCOM)").
